Educational Modules are workshops and sessions we offer to educate, inform and support small business and career professionals in our community. Our October Educational Module is presented by Monique Rose of The Real Milk & Honey Eatery and Bar.

Monique Rose

Monique Rose is a multi-hyphenated entrepreneur on a mission to “outwork everybody.” Her tagline continues to manifest as she expands her empire one industry at a time. Growing up in Milwaukee, WI, the eldest of two children, Monique was always independent. She obtained her first job at 13 and earned her high school diploma at 16 as a single mother. By the age of 25, Monique had opened her first bar and founded and opened her first non-profit, House of Hope Girls Group Home of Milwaukee. In 2011, Monique settled into restaurant consulting and management in Atlanta, Georgia, and has since built her brand by opening and successfully operating more than a dozen restaurants throughout the United States, including Milk & Honey Cafe, co-founded in 2015. Monique Rose Management is now the culmination of 20-plus years of experience. It is the parent company of her current Restaurant, Retail, Beauty, Health and Wellness, and Commercial Real Estate portfolio. She also passionately operates a new non-profit organization called Rags to Roses, which focuses on providing resources to underserved demographics of young women.
